A Future Where Mealtimes Feel Easy and Food Feels Normal …
Picture this: your 15 year old eating without stress, feeling good in their body, and no longer batling food fears or frustration.
YES … to after-school snacks without fear or frustration (food should be fun, not a fight!).
YES … to family dinners where everyone eats together (without anxiety or struggles).
YES … to a plan hat supports their health without extremes (so they can focus on what really matters).
What can you say? Your child deserves peace with food and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Lately, you’ve noticed your adolescent is pulling away- from meals, from social events and maybe even you.
They used to enjoy family dinners and outings with friends, but now food feels like a source of stress, not nourishment.
Maybe they’re second guessing every bite, skipping meals, or labeling foods as “good” or “bad.” Ordering fries at dinner turns into an internal debate: “Will this make me gain weight? Should I just skip it? The texture scares me? What if I regret it later?”
The back-and-forth is exhausting- for them and you.
Food, once something to enjoy, has become a source of stress.
And, it’s just not food. Other signs are showing up too- mood swings, fatigue, unexplained symptoms- all chipping away at their confidence.
They deserve to feel good in their body. And, YOU do not have to navigate this alone!
Not that you’d wish this feeling on anyone, but lately, it seems like your child is the one shrinking into the background- and it’s hard to watch.
ADD THESE TO THE LIST OF
Things Your Child Used to Love, But Now Hate:
✔ FAMILY MEALS
What used to be a normal part of the day feels tense. Your teen picks at their plate, pushes food around, or finds reasons to skip meals altogether. Instead of enjoying time together, meals have turned into a source of stress—for both of you.
✔ GOING OUT WITH FRIENDS
Spontaneous pizza nights or ice cream runs should be fun, but for your teen, they’re full of anxiety. They’re overthinking every bite, wondering, Is this too unhealthy? Will I regret eating this? The stress makes it easier to just say no to plans altogether.
✔ FITTING INTO CLOTHES
Lately, your teen hates trying on clothes. Whether they think everything looks “wrong” or they’ve started wearing baggy layers to hide their body, you’ve noticed their confidence shrinking—and their frustration growing.
✔ SEEING THEMSELVES IN PHOTOS
A simple picture turns into a spiral of self-criticism. They avoid the camera, stress over angles, or immediately ask to delete photos they don’t like. Instead of capturing memories, they’re caught up in how they look.
It’s not like you haven’t tried to fix the problem.
You’ve tried to help- offering advice, adjusting meals and encouraging balance- but nothing seems to break the cycle.
Maybe they started out just “eating healthier,” following advice from social media influencers, only for it to spiral into rigid food rules and fear around certain foods. Maybe they became hyper-focused on exercise, pushing themselves too hard, or cutting out entire food groups—until it became unsustainable.
Or maybe it swings the other way—days of strict control, followed by moments of feeling out of control with food, leading to guilt, frustration, and starting over again.
It’s exhausting—for them and for you. But there’s a way to break free from the cycle.
I provide science-backed, practical nutrition support to help teens rebuild trust with food, understand their body’s needs, and find stability without extremes.
Whether it’s disordered eating, an eating disorder, or a complicated relationship with food, your child can regain balance—without feeling trapped in a cycle of restriction, fear, or guilt.
Your adolescent deserves a healthier, more sustainable approach- and you do not have to figure it out alone.

I customize everything to fit your teen’s personality, lifestyle, and the goals that matter most to them (and to you).
I’ve been there — and I deeply understand what your child is going through.
As a Registered Dietitian who also lives with PCOS and has overcome my own health and body image challenges, I get it. This isn’t just clinical for me — it’s personal. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to the table, which means I meet your teen with empathy, relatability, and strategies that actually work in the real world.

And between sessions, I’m just an email away. Your child gets ongoing support, accountability, and encouragement, especially on the hard days.
This isn’t just about food — it’s a full-circle wellness experience.
I bring more than just nutrition credentials to our sessions. As a Registered Dietitian and certified Confidence Coach trained in Mindful Nutrition, Yoga, and Lagree Pilates, I offer a holistic approach that supports your teen’s physical, emotional, and mental health. You don’t need to hire multiple specialists — you get one trusted provider who sees the whole picture.
What’s Confidence Got to Do With It?
Newsflash: True healing starts from the inside out.
Before your teen can feel comfortable in their clothes, order a meal without guilt, or stop comparing themselves to others, they need to believe they’re worthy of nourishment, care, and a life that feels good—inside and out.
(You might hear them say they’re “fine,” but deep down, you know they’re struggling.)
In my nutrition counseling sessions, we work together to rebuild more than just eating habits—we work on self-worth. I help your child explore the thoughts and beliefs that may be holding them back from feeling confident and at peace in their body. Together, we begin replacing the destructive inner dialogue with something more powerful. You know the ones …
“I can’t.”
“What if I gain weight?”
“When I’m skinnier.”
“No one else eats like me”
Rewriting this self-talk and making empowered food choices sends a new message: “I deserve to feel good, I’m allowed to eat, I’m enough.” And, that’s where the transformation begins.
“My daughter loves working with Maddie.”
“When my daughter was diagnosed with PCOS, she was overwhelmed—anxious about food, constantly picking herself apart, and just not feeling like herself. Working with Maddie has truly changed everything. She meets my daughter where she’s at, makes her feel safe, and somehow gets through to her in a way no one else has. It’s like a light has come back on in her. She’s more confident, more at ease with food, and finally starting to feel good in her own skin again. As a mom, that’s all I ever wanted.”
– A grateful mom.

More About Me
Hey, Maddie again! I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker, lover of European travel, and someone who’s deeply passionate about helping teens feel good in their bodies—physically and emotionally.
I became a Registered Dietitian because I know firsthand how hard it can be to feel at home in your body—especially during the teen years.
When I was diagnosed with PCOS at 14 years old, I was handed birth control and sent on my way. No one explained what was happening in my body, and I was left confused, self-conscious, and honestly… scared. I didn’t feel like myself anymore, and no one was connecting the dots between my symptoms and what I was eating, how I was feeling, or how I saw myself.
That experience shaped everything. Since 2020, I’ve dedicated my work to helping teens feel heard, supported, and truly understood. I’ve spent years studying how nutrition connects with hormones, weight, mental health, and self-esteem—including a two-year thesis on hormonal imbalances in adolescents.
I’ve been where your adolescent is, and I’m here to help.
But what really drives me is this:
I see the pressure teens are under—every single day.
Between TikTok trends, confusing “what I eat in a day” videos, diet culture disguised as wellness, and constant comparisons on social media, teens are bombarded with messages about how they should look, what they should eat, and who they should be. It's exhausting—and often harmful.
My approach is gentle, realistic, and rooted in trust. I don’t use shame, rigid rules, or diet talk. Instead, I help teens rebuild their relationship with food and their body—one small step at a time. Whether we’re talking about how to balance hormones, manage cravings, or feel more confident ordering a meal out with friends, I meet them where they are and walk with them forward.
Parents often tell me, “My teen finally feels like themselves again.”
And that’s the goal—because when teens start to feel safe in their body, and supported around food, everything changes.
Whether your child is navigating hormonal issues, weight fluctuations, a tough relationship with food, or just wants to feel better in their skin—I’m here to guide them, judgment-free and full of heart.
Are you in?

“Maddie truly changed the course of my daughter’s recovery.”
When my daughter was diagnosed with anorexia, we were scared and unsure where to turn. Every meal felt like a battle, and I could see her shutting down more and more each day. Finding Maddie was the turning point. From the very first session, my daughter felt safe with her—which was something we hadn’t seen in a long time. Maddie never pushed or made her feel uncomfortable. She really listened and built trust at my daughter’s pace. What I appreciated most was that Maddie treated her like a whole person—not just a diagnosis. They worked on food, yes, but also on confidence, body image, and managing the anxiety that came up around eating. Maddie had creative ways of helping, like food exposures, journaling, and even small wins that helped rebuild my daughter’s sense of control. It hasn’t been an easy road, but for the first time in a long time, I see real progress. My daughter is eating again, speaking up for herself, and smiling more. We still have work to do, but she’s healing—and that’s something I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to say. We’re so grateful to have Maddie in our corner.”
– Mom of a 16-year-old client.
FRIENDLY PSA:
Side Effects of Working With Me May Include:
➜ LOVING CLOTHES SHOPPING AGAIN
No more tears in the dressing room or avoiding mirrors. You might notice your child feeling more comfortable picking out outfits they actually want to wear—and feeling good in them, too.
➜ SAYING “YES” TO MORE OF LIFE
Whether it’s a school dance, a group hang, or just going out for ice cream without anxiety, your teen begins showing up for their life instead of shrinking away from it. Confidence looks different on everyone—and you’ll start to see it.
➜ LESS HIDING, MORE SMILING IN PHOTOS
The constant picking apart of how they look in every picture starts to fade. You’ll catch them in more family photos, group selfies, or even snapping their own—because they’re finally starting to see what you’ve seen all along.
➜ A HEALTHIER, CALMER RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD AND THEIR BODY
They begin listening to their hunger cues, fueling their body with intention, and letting go of the guilt. Whether they’re navigating hormones, an eating disorder, or body image challenges—your teen is learning to trust their body again, step by step.
“His skin started clearing up!”
“My son started working with Maddie to learn how nutrition could help with his acne and confidence. She connected with him right away and made the science feel simple and doable. His skin started clearing up—and so did his mindset around food. He’s now making better choices on his own, without any pressure. It’s been incredible to watch him feel more confident in his own skin”
– Liz L.
