What will we discuss during our 1:1 coaching sessions?

That depends on your unique goals and challenges. My support is completely customized to your needs, helping you get where you want to be in a healthy, sustainable way. (If you’re looking for a quick fix or fad diet, you can “X” out of this page now. No hard feelings!) 

Nutrition can feel complicated on a good day. Add in PCOS, Insulin Resistance, Binge Eating and/or Hypothyrodism and you might be completely baffled by how to eat for better health. I’ll clear up the confusion so you can make more informed food choices. 

Will I still be able to enjoy the food and drinks I love? 

Of course! My coaching is based on moderation, never complete restriction. There’s no sense in giving you a nutrition plan you hate because you’ll probably drop it in within days. Instead, I’ll recommend healthy, delicious foods you *actually* want to add to your plate. (Did I mention I love dark chocolate and wine? Because life’s too short to not enjoy a good sweet & smooth pairing!) 

In my sessions, we are all about promoting lifestyle over diet!

How much does your coaching cost, and what does it include? 

Coaching can be covered either by your health insurance or purchased by private pay. If choosing private pay, my single sessions cost $179 and include 50 minutes of 1:1 time with me, plus follow-up email support and any tools you might need to incorporate better nutrition into your everyday life (i.e. grocery lists, meal plans, checklists, etc.)

Will my medical insurance cover the cost of your coaching?  

That will depend on a couple of factors, such as which health insurance you have. You may also be able to use your FSA or HSA Card to pay for sessions with a Letter of Medical Medical Necessity (LIM) from your doctor. Super Bills can also be provided for coverage.

What is Mindful Nutrition and why is it important that you’re certified in it? 

Mindful Nutrition can aid in digestion, promote satiation (feelings of fullness), and help you make better food choices that satisfy and nourish your body. Most importantly, it can free you from unhealthy habits around food and eating. 

Many dietitians aren’t certified in Mindful Nutrition but practice the principles. If they say they’re experts in it, they’re lying. Mindful Nutrition is the way of the future and something I incorporate into all of my coaching. It has roots in meditation, which is proving to be an amazing resource for weight loss.

I’ve never felt confident before. Is there still hope for me? 

Absolutely! I’ll not only help you meet your physical goals but I’ll help you boost your confidence and overall mindset. All I need from you is a willingness to be open with me as we explore what might be holding you back. This is a safe space, and I have your best interests at heart! 

Why should I work with you NOW instead of waiting? 

There’s a saying that goes like this: If nothing changes, nothing changes. It’s so simple, yet so true. The time will pass no matter what.
